For the Yamaha R6, Yamaha has refined the engine and electronics to deliver even more power and performance. The engine now features a titanium intake valve that enhances the high-revving character of the R6, while also improving durability. The fly-by-wire throttle system has been revised for smoother and more precise response, allowing the rider to easily control the bike's power delivery.
