83 Chevy C20 'Mark III'custom Conversion Van, very rare with 6.2 Detroit diesel engine, 700R4 transmission. This is the completely mechanical, extremely reliable 'Detroit Diesel' engine which since 2000 is only produced for the military. All other GM diesels since 2000 have been contracted to Isuzu and marketed as 'Duramax'. 98 K original miles. Engine and drive train are in excellent condition. The van needs miscellaneous restoration to be a unique vehicle again as it has been unlicensed and deteriorating since my children are grown. Empty weight is 6500 lbs. and delivers 25 mpg on highway with lots of power. Please don't assume vehicle can be driven away and most people are not equipped to properly restore. The engine alone is worth more than I'm asking for the entire vehicle but I would prefer seeing someone capable and interested in the entire machine. Has not been licensed for about 8 years which means you need to have a shop large enough to accommodate it and a trailer or roll-back to take it there.
